KELLY DODGE - Artist to Collect
Written by Michael Dumas
Pursuing an artistic field study in the Galapagos Islands was a dream come true for Kelly Dodge. Selected by the Artists Conservation Flag Expedition Program, she studied and documented an extraordinary array of tropical creatures in their natural habitat. The experience brought about a profound change in her life and her art. Now back home, she communes with and takes inspiration from the wildlife inhabiting her rural Ontario property, believing that “the value in art ultimately rests in its reflection of life and how we relate to it.”
